I'm plodding on simply because of time constraints - delayed my flight home etc., etc.

I'm accepting RTF conversion because I've never found why my PC will not read the same .doc that the laptop does. Same Office download.


As far as I know, it's going okay. But Word's reticence to show its inner workings leaves me blind to any detritus that RTF might allow past.

Last night, I had several instances of lines of text being pushed over to the right. Backspace Deleting blind seemed to kill whatever it was causing the problem. "P" did not reveal anything but the normal code.

The comment in one of those write-ups about WP users all wanting to know how to reveal codes was very illuminating.
