Hardly surprising, though sad to see BE's impending exit from Gatwick.
Irony is that CAA figures indicate that BE's loads on LGW BHD have been holding up well - despite Aer Lingus spending fortunes on marketing to try to make inroads. BA also doing well on Heathrow - to be expected.
But Aer Lingus have lost over 20% of their business from last year on Heathrow, having moved to BHD - directly to BA and indirectly to easy.
And Lingus loads on BHD LGW less than 50%.
Remains to be seen what goes on from here.
I wonder would easy do a BHD LGW?
