Get off your high horse Falconer. Many of us go to work to earn a living. It helps if you enjoy your job, but at the end of the day, it's about putting food on the table.
I could argue that it's people who
aren't interested in the pay that are ruining the industry. Those that will accept whatever T's&C's are offered, just so that they can call themselves a pilot.
Although the original question does appear naive, I don't have any problem with someone wanting to put a good pay packet at the top of their requirements.
