CAA to FAA
I'm a (UK) CAA PPL holder and want to convert to FAA PPL to do some flying this summer in USA. I've filled in the following forms:
- Verification of Authenticity of Foreign License, Rating, and Medical Certification
- Application for Verification of a Licence Issued by the UK CAA (SRG1160)
- Form for submission of payments to PLD (SRG1187)
and also photocopied my licence and medical.
Now my question is what do I send where? So which forms go to CAA and which to FAA and do I have to wait for CAA validation before sending the form to FAA? I find it confusing since both CAA forms include payment details but there will be one payment?
