I've never really considered the 'compact' model, so cannot comment - although it's a bit too shallow to cook a chook or a joint of meat, I gather. The 'One Touch Premium' has the
excellent ash-catcher which makes cleaning out the ash much easier. It also has a hinged cooking grate (if you need to add more coals, you can do so without needing to take the grate off) and a thermometer in the lid.
But I'm sure they're all fine; last year the advice I had was that the 'Premium' was worth the extra cost and having had both, I agree.
