This is where you've got it so wrong - the RAF
wanted to streamline the holding WSOps (there as a result of SDSR). It was the spineless politicians who didn't want to face more criticism following redundancies and a reduction of the pilot pipeline. I know this is a rumour site - but at least try to get close to the truth.......
