What a condescending post. Unfortunately not everyone is in the position to join a integrated or tagged scheme because they haven't got mummy or daddy willing to put the loan on the house for them, or support them with living costs for 18 months.

Yes some people actually have done a proper job before getting into flying and have had to pay their dues and sacrifice to try and follow their dream, since when has the ideal pilot become a 20 year old barely out of college, never worked a day in his life yet can find his way onto one of these courses pretty easily aslong as he has mummy or daddy to sponge off.
Not everyone who's on a tagged or integrated scheme has needed to 'sponge' from the bank of mum and dad, and it's grossly unfair to label them all in that manner. Neither are they all 20 year old or going for their first job. The sooner we get out of the 'us and them' mentality of modular vs integrated training and realise that each has it's own merits and it's own pitfalls the better.

None-the-less, the gentleman I was replying to with my post has to play the cards he has been dealt with. Coming on here and whining about how he isn't eligible for the minority of recruitment slots available, isn't going to help anybody.
