The letter of apology seems to be a mix of an apology with
PR. Personally I don't think it helps build good customer relations or alleviate safety concerns. More it draws attention to such issues and creates doubt where doubt didn't exist. Much as I admire the success of the airline they appear to have to spend ever increasing amounts of money fighting fire with fire and it really shouldn't be that way.
