Seeing the picture of Snoopy brought back memories. I went on a school trip from Swavesey to Marshall when she was being converted (MA were building the noses for Concorde at the time).
I also sat in the Mods Ctee meeting when they were discussing painting the cock on the tail. Lots of arguments over how big it should be - should not be bigger than the RAF roundel etc. went on for an hour. My bit on Secure comms took 10 mins!
Looks a sorry state sat at Marshall now the A400m engine test is over.
Coff- I don't know if it qualifies for the ripple tittle. I don't know if the red and white iconic nose has been preserved. It would have looked out of place on the FAAM 146.
