Odd request - finding old air fares
Apologies for this strange request, but am trying to help a colleague who has not quite followed the rules and has booked flights without first going through the process of getting approval and showing they are reasonable fares compared to other airlines or travel companies.
Is there any website you know of that tracks fares and will let you know what a typical fare was, say for a trip between the US and Asia, a month ago? I know there are a couple of sites that try and predict fares, but this is the other way round. I suspect there aren't but am always surprised about what turns up on the internet but haven't found anything myself.
