There are three manufacturers with hand holdable gyro rigs that stabilise roll tilt and pan, about to come on the market that will do a good job on wide shots. Hand held shooting will become more popular.
Seat belt? Camera slipping off shoulder? Changing battery? Both rear seats occupied?
Life vest? the designer of the steadycam says not to use a steadycam in a helicopter, as does the distributor and those giving master classes.

This type of "rig" would be replaced by one of the hand holdable gyro rigs, probably suspended by bungies.
