Don't remember why now but the blow down bottle had been removed and reinstalled by me
It's a while since I flew one, but I don't recall C402's having a blow down bottle. That was more common on Pipers than Cessna piston twins as I recall. The 402 had an emergency extension crank that meshed directly into the gearbox located beneath the pilot's seat. A bugger to use in anger, but it enabled me to get the gear down once.
