Canada is the country of aviation, possibly the most interesting and challenging (Australia comes to mind aswell).
For a career, that's quite simple:
-get a CPL
-bush or instruction or ramp
-build your time and reputation with your chief pilots all along
-find a turboprop job, then build your PIC multi turboprop time
-Apply for Jazz or the other regional airlines
-Apply for AC
-Done.
