Added later - On reflection that was a bit harsh.
a) There are no other Tan Son Airbases around.
b) Tan Son Nhut (as it was then) was most likely referred to by the cognoscenti as plain Tan Son.
Saigon Tan Son Nhut it is. (AKA India 42's backyard.)
