I get the impression from the above posts that the "ramps" on the 27L end of the runway are there to stay. Surely not, it feels like a shoddy piece of great British road works at the moment, please tell me that it is going to be finished sometime. The taxi ways at LHR (esp blocks 22-30 outer) are the worst we ever use, it would be nice if at least the runways could be smooth.
