If I was a friend/relative of Cdr (retd) Ward I would actually be more than a little worried - he has clearly lost it.
I may be clearly biased in his ridiculous RAF bashing pieces but his F-18 v F-35 discussion, in which I have no bias or agenda, is actually quite hilarious after a while. His statistics, argument and world view are so distorted, ill-informed or just plain wrong that he loses absolutely all credibility. There probably is a good argument for F-18 rather than F-35 but after reading his argument the entire thing just looks ludicrous - he does far more harm than good for his "causes".
Given the new 1SL's view on inter-service bickering I would hope that he will fade away, but I suspect not.
