Hello,
My PPL SEP rating lapsed some time ago and i'm trying to get my head around the new EASA rules with regards to keeping my SEP valid (once I have refreshed and renewed it).
I have been ploughing through the CAA website all night, and tried a few searches on here but I just can't make things add up...
I have searched CAP393 and CAP804, both of which point me towards Part FCL, so I went to Part FCL (here:
EASA - Acceptable Means of Compliance and Guidance Material ) and find it seems to be 'missing some detail', all I seem to find is a check list of requirements for the issue of the licence.
I recall that the JAA SEP required 12 hours over 24 months, or a check flight with an examiner...it is this sort of information that i'm looking for in Part FCL but am unable to find so far.
CAP804 Section 4 Part P page 21 refers to an extract from Part FCL.740(b) which seems to be what I want, but when i've tried to look up that extract, I haven't been able to find it.
CAP393 seems to point to CAP804 which points to Part FCL and in the 3 documents i haven't found what i'm after.
Does anybody out there know what i'm looking for, and its location please?
