Class Rating Validity - EASA Part FCL (help please!)

Hello,

My PPL SEP rating lapsed some time ago and i'm trying to get my head around the new EASA rules with regards to keeping my SEP valid (once I have refreshed and renewed it).

I have been ploughing through the CAA website all night, and tried a few searches on here but I just can't make things add up...

I have searched CAP393 and CAP804, both of which point me towards Part FCL, so I went to Part FCL (here: EASA - Acceptable Means of Compliance and Guidance Material ) and find it seems to be 'missing some detail', all I seem to find is a check list of requirements for the issue of the licence.

I recall that the JAA SEP required 12 hours over 24 months, or a check flight with an examiner...it is this sort of information that i'm looking for in Part FCL but am unable to find so far.

CAP804 Section 4 Part P page 21 refers to an extract from Part FCL.740(b) which seems to be what I want, but when i've tried to look up that extract, I haven't been able to find it.

CAP393 seems to point to CAP804 which points to Part FCL and in the 3 documents i haven't found what i'm after.

Does anybody out there know what i'm looking for, and its location please?
