Don't know what you are doing at the moment, but if you are a uni student, you can gain a great deal of practice on them through doing applications for summer jobs/real jobs with companies such as banks, accountancies, engineering companies: in fact any largish company. When doing them, the most important thing to remember is not to use any prior knowledge when answering, but only the given information.
