Poor old 737, its a crying shame to see a couple of month old plane sitting in the drink with a broken back!
Now here is the irony. CASA, ASA and ATSBeaker have been sending inspectors, investigators and specialists to Indonesia to assist them since 2008. Around $30 million spent to date.
Lion have been trying to get permission to fly to Australia for a few years, wonder what effect if any that has on FF's decision makers?
Anyway, we will find out if Beaker allows his people to get involved as the draft accident report won't be published for 3 years, the Lion 737 landed in a few inches of water so the black boxes won't be retrieved and then the final completed report will contain lots of tautological nonsense and a heap of mi mi mi-ing!
