The reasons for this massive intake of pilots is manifold.Many of the Jet 777s will now be wetleased to Etihad and also possibly 330s too.This is part of the deal that is being worked out between the two carriers.In my earlier post I had criticised Jet's knee jerk hiring and firing policies.The reason for this is because if the deal goes sour then all you guys hired , stand to be fired.And the chances of the deal going sour , according to yours truly , are pretty bright.
