Yes aircraft go Tech all the time and Maybe MH is a bit of a scapegoat here. Those ATR's are worked really hard, with out knowing what actually failed on them it's hard to judge but with the recent amount of failures on them maybe the decision to move a lot of the serving off island may have back fired slightly. Previously spares etc.. would have been to hand here and the A/C could have been back in service quicker ? The MD of a company should be picking up on these issues and making sure they don't re occur. With the losses Aurigny are making to charter aircraft constantly must be hurting the pocket badly, lets hope the new MD can sort the issues.
