Yes put haven't Wizz applied for routes for the following routes:
Budapest - Moscow (Regulatory approval received from Hungary - Russia stalling)
Budapest - Istanbul (Regulatory approval received from Hungary - Turkey stalling)
and they have yet to receive approval from the Ukrainian and Russian authorities to open up links between Kiev - St. Petersburg and Moscow. It seems Russia, the Ukraine and Turkey are still in positions to restrict competition for the benefit of the flag carriers.
Wizz Air did well in 2012. I think 2013 will be another succesful year for them by opening up the markets like Dubai and Israel.
Indeed they need to go after lucrative routes easyJet's success is testament to this.
