I hear a lot about people who fail the aptitudes on the verbal reasoning test. It doesn't surprise me when I read posts like those above where BA wannabes demonstrate their pitiful grasp of the English language.
The occasional spelling/grammatical error is fine - after all we're typing fast, but when I see the same word spelt incorrectly more than once in one post, it's obviously not just a one off typo.
For example, Olympic260 doesn't even have the right word! It's 'aptitude' not 'amplitude'.
And spikyt - 'aptitude' only has one 'p'.
I think everyone has been concentrating so hard on being technically fabulous all their lives, that they've neglected being literate. So many technical people I know don't read books!
You can be both!

BTW, if anyone spots any errors in my post, do let me know as I can stand constructive criticism.
