Just for your information, having done the Europilot programme, albeit in its original state, the loan-thing worked out as follwes:
The initial loan is for the education/training, added to that loan is a smaller one to cover insurance, interest and personal expenses during the training. The interest during training was about 8.5%.
After initial training is over there are no additional loans or costs to the programme. The AFMCC course, Jet Orientation Course and eventual Type Rating were being paid for by either the CTC/ATP Academy or the airline.
The payback of the loan can be doen with as little as 6.00% finance at this moment in time and your looking at a 20 year pay-off of your debts.
