Indefinitely is a long time. If CX were to only take ID card holders from now on they would start to have crewing problems within 12 months. They are pretty well off for SOs ATM but that will surely change in the near future.
As was mentioned on Threads earlier, the 200 hour non ID card holder cadets from 09 and 10 will be on FO courses soon if not already. Lets see how many make it through.
They can't go back to the old requirements cause of the not so good package now being offered but I would say that the mins will increase for the AE entry. Maybe 1000 TT? They would still get swamped with apps regardless. That's my prediction. AE will be back but with higher mins and possibly some sort of commercial experience.
