Correct; A/PNG lost PJV it was announced last week. I believe it was all pretty competitive.
I am not sure who will be operating the contract now. I assume it was won by Heavylift and they will be using an ATR-500 on the service Cairns to Hagen and the domestic sectors, with the Twotters shuttling Hagen to Kairik. Can anyone confirm this?
ATR's are certainly flavour of the month.
The ATR-500 would be a good fit for the operation, if not a tad expensive.
