Any thoughts?

I have a couple of ubiquitous pre-embarrassment checks, depending on class of aircraft, that I always use when lining up for take-off:

Jets: 'Flaps, trims and pins'
Pistons: 'Flaps, trims, prop, tailwheel lock'
