To combine:

I found myself at a museum sitting in the cockpit of a Wessex

changing the drive configuration on a helicopter, a procedure that involved moving throttles and switches with much dexterity and panache
.. how about:

Stb SSL fully forward
Pt SSL fully back
Both Turbines running
No.1 needle below 180
Main Drive selected "IN"
Indicator cross-hatched
Indicator "IN"

..and still lots of people (not me chief) fcuked it up ......
