I'm in the same position as you and feel the same frustrations (also got the email today)
I don't think people on this forum will give you much console, however, out of the graciousness of my aging old heart I will share how I deal with these quarterly emails that break the bad news.
-think about when you were in flying school or your first job and you saw a jet flying over, and what you'd give to be flying it
-think about the time, effort and money it took to get the interview done
-think about how many other people would kill to be in your position (i recently met a guy who is living in a van, driving around the country trying to find his first job but keeps getting knocked back... GA is still very alive in it's monstrous glory! This guy would give more than his "left one" to be in our shoes)
-consider if it would actually be better working for any of the oppositions (from what I hear, VA sh!ts all over them).
I'm not saying your wrong for being frustrated. I'm completely in your boat. Just trying to help
