I stayed at a home share which was brilliant and food was sensational with the best ribs I've ever had. I got to know someone staying at the rv park and that was fun with parties and bbq at night. And each day at the show is different so you need to go each day.
Also we drove up to Door County about 50 miles away. Sensational scenary and seafood there. I mingled with Americans rather than ozzies and had a fantastic time. Loved talking to the middle aged reservist pilots such as A10 drivers with much battle experience yet are laid back and down to earth.
