The difference Animalclub, is that LCC's use their low cost title as a reason to put downward pressure on wages. Ie " we can't pay xyz wages like a full service carrier, because we're a LCC".
The reality is that VA is the second biggest airline in Australia. It's profitable and a full service carrier. VA could pay QANTAS wages and still have much lower operating costs than QANTAS. yet some pilots are intent on comparisons with tiger, jet star and Skywest eba's.
