My point is there is countries where each airline has it's strengths and weaknesses with regards to brand recognition. FR enjoys tremendous brand recognition in the West of Europe and pretty good in Central and some of Eastern Europe and that is always going to be an obstacle to Wizz.

On the other hand there are some countries in the East of Europe that Wizz is able to link to Budapest and Poland that you wouldn't most likely see FR opening, since FR don't exactly have a huge presence in the likes of Serbia, Georgia, Romania and Bulgaria and Ukraine in comparison (for varying reasons)

It works both ways, same in that Aer Lingus are always going to be strong on flights ex Republic and Northern Ireland, but found it tough flying from Gatwick to destinations outside Ireland.
