Read and digest what I said earlier. That would be quite ......impressive. Our genetic makeup determines the 'nature' and .....upbringing, peer group and profession the 'nurture'. This debate is very old and you can see it around in so many forms. I am suggesting that offenders should be seperated from the public = prison /detention and then offered support and treatment in whatever form the experts around the world can muster. Prisons around the world are full of people who are mentally ill. We are scratching the surface until more is known. For an example, ADHD and aspergers syndrome are only recently identified by genetic mapping. I can identify three pilots I have known over many years who are detained in prison for sex offender crimes. They all held class one medicals and had a good public image.... until.
