FI Position at Comair - Fact or Fiction?

I've just been trawling through countless threads after doing a search for Comair Aviation Academy. Comair are my current FTO of choice after researching many schools in Florida, and I plan to visit them soon with a view to enrolling midway through the year. One of the attractions to their course is the JAA FI certificate, which will allow a student to instruct in order to hour build until the expiration of their J1 visa. This brings me to my point, I would like to hear from anyone who has personally been through the JAA ATP program and taken the FI option. Before I decide to embark on the course I would like to know whether or not the FI position is guaranteed - I have read a few disgruntled threads that tell stories of people being 'released' or not offered the FI position they were expecting. I may consider other schools if this is the case as it negates the advantage that they have over other schools in the area.

cheers,
