Might need a 777 or 747 on a few Aussie flights plus could make staff travel even more difficult.
British Airways and Cathay Pacific have announced a code share agreement on flights in and out of Australia starting March 31.
The deal is subject to approval by Australian regulators and will allow BA customers to join Cathay Pacific services between Hong Kong and London.“Our new codeshare with Cathay Pacific will allow British Airways to serve all major Australian cities and provide customers with increased schedule options and flexibility,” British Airways regional commercial manager Nicole Backo said.Customers travelling through Hong Kong will land at London Heathrow Terminal 5 with access to British Airways’ European network.
Codeshare routes went on sale yesterday for departures from March 31 onward.
