Any reputable airline will place restrictions on when it's employees may wear uniform and how they may act.
It will also place restrictions on them speaking on the companies behalf, failure to follow those rules (which normally form part of the contract of employment and or OM-A / General Basic) would be grounds for dismissal.
This chap has done nothing to further his cause, and everything to bring the pilots of Air India into disrepute with the airline and quite possibly the public at large (seeing him a spoilt kid whining about dreamliners - yes he would of done well to keep the 787 out of his video!)
