I was just wondering if someone can help me trying to understand EU Ops/Easa Ops. I have been away from flying for a couple of years and just wanted to get up to date with it all really. I have the JAR OPS in plain english book which I used a while ago and I was just seeing if this information is still valid or is it now under EU Ops or is EASA Ops now in force. As you can see I am a little confused. I am trying to find where I can download it all. If I was working for an airline all the information and rules would be in my ops manual, but which ops is my manual based upon?
In addition to the implementing rules in the regulation Capot mentions, the AMC/GM are published by EASA.

Also is the Air Navigation Order now void and been taken over by the European legislation.
No, the UK ANO contains aspects of legislation that are not yet within Community competence. It contains carve-outs to exclude e.g. CAT operations from its scope, but it still, for now, applies to other operations.

Just one more thing, where can I find the relevant legislation on aircraft separation minima in CAS and how to reduce the separation i.e. putting an aircraft on a radar heading?
SERA.8010 Separation minima gives the implementing rule in general terms, but not at the level of detail you're looking for. The ICAO document 4444 PANS-ATM chapters 5 and 8 contain the ICAO recommendations.
