Apologies, you said you were having trouble understanding the award, i'll try and help you with it.

Above link is the latest award just incase.

Multi engine UTBNI 3360 kg $42,772 for Captain

Before we go on the Standard Rate is currently defined as "standard rate means the minimum salary for a Captain single engine UTBNI 1360 kg in Schedule B divided by 52" which is 36,734/52 = 706.42.

Not entirely sure what sort of operation your doing add the following as appropriate:

(a) A pilot flying a piston engine aircraft engaged on commuter operations will be paid an additional allowance of 183% of the standard rate per annum. ($1292.75)

(b) A pilot (excluding Fokker-28 pilots) required to hold and exercise the privileges of a Senior Commercial Pilots’ Licence or Airline Transport Pilots Licence by their company or CASA (or who operates under an exemption from holding that licence) will be paid 604% of the standard rate per annum. ($4266.78)

(c) A pilot flying a turbo-prop aircraft will be paid 797% of the standard rate per annum. ($5630.17)

B.1.4
Pilots (excluding Fokker-28 pilots) who are required to carry out flying using an instrument rating will be paid an additional allowance as follows:
Instrument flying rating
Percentage of standard rate
Command or Class 1 732% ($5171.00)

The bold parts are my working out, so assuming your required to hold an ATPL, flying M/E UTBNI 3360kg, with a CIR on Turbo-prop you'd be entitled to $59,132.7. Your overall package will be higher if you have overnights of course and I honestly never could work out the stupid NT District Allowance anyway!

Keep in mind also there are additions for use of an Instructor Rating and/or Training other pilots, CFI, Senior Base etc...etc...

Any more specific questions feel free to ask.
