I would just like to ask if it is true that EK and QR have an agreement of not accepting applicants from both parties? That there has to be a gap of 6months or 1year? Is this true?
Officially no. When you sign the contract with QR, its not mention anywhere in the contract that you are forbidden to work for EK or any other airline after you resign (or if you are dismissed) from QR. The source of this information is a newly CC with QR who signed a contract with them aprox. 2 months ago.
I use to work for QR for more than a year. Now, I am thinking of applying in EK.
When you signed the contract you must have been read it carefully right? Unofficially there are speculations based on the fact that a low number of ex CC's with QR have made it to EK the minute they left QR. Again, these are only speculations.
