Is an aircraft technically flying Mach 1 with a strong tailwind?

Probably a silly question.
Say an aircraft is doing Mach .85
LSS is 661 knots in MSL.
This decreases with increasing altitude.

Technically pilots are flying (with strong winds) more than the speed of sound?

Please excuse my ignorance if I'm missing something here.
Thanks!
