I think its not inconceviable that Thomson will sub lease if the dreamliner is not available to start the flying programme. I well remember Thomson getting Air Atlanta in, when short of capacity in the 90s, passengers got an L1011 Tristar! If I were booked on the earliest 787 Thomson flights I would be unhappy with a £10 refund, especially if the flights are operated by another airline, or they decide to deploy the 757s transat again.
