Thank you for that - I stand corrected. I think there were more than one flight on that day and I was on one of them because as well as noise demos, BAe used the day as a sales pitch to various airlines. I must be getting confused with my certificate from BAF re one of the Viscount retirement flights (of which there were many!) The one I was on went from Southend at low level up the Thames as far as Westminster and then back again. As it was at low level it bumped around a bit which caused one of the Council officials on board to throw up which in turn caused extreme mirth among the airline bods present, which in hindsight was a bit nasty of us.
