Hi, here's an overview:
they will tell you you'll be based in Dubai and you'll have a block of 7 days off a month to commute. The truth is that you'll spend aboud 3 weeks a month in Kabul and the remaining days off will be scattered across the month, therefore no commuting possible, pilots have been unable to go home for several months.
In Kabul there're only two fairly safe places: Green Village and Baron Hotel but those two places are expensive, therefore you'll stay at Safi Landmark Hotel which belongs to Safi family, which means it's free of charge for the airline. If you want to get a picture of the safety level at Safi Landmark, check on youtube the videos relevant to the Taliban attacks occured in the last few years which involved also Safi crews, otherwise give a shout to your country's Embassy in Kabul and ask them for their opinion on the Hotel's safety level.
The Hotel is about 30 minutes from the airport, therefore you'll have to drive twice a day in the city's traffic with no protection and with high risk of vehicle borne IEDs attacks like the one occured in September last year when 12 pilots and engineers got killed on the airport road.
Concerning the airline, in broad outline, they only care of having the airplanes flying cheaply, this means there's no maintenance and no care whatsoever for safety and this is not just a personal point of view if you think that the company has been blacklisted since a long time.
The only good thing is that money is always on time but there's no point with making money if you risk your life every day on rotten airplanes and in a war zone with no protection.
Hope this helps.
