Bmi Regional operates into CWL quite often at weekends on charter flights carrying football and rugby club teams.
With Swansea City in the Premier League most teams fly in to CWL including the London clubs and LGW was used at least once this season (by Chelsea FC) in connection with a match at Swansea, though LTN seems the more popular choice for the Prem football clubs.
So this may be the reason for the unusual BMIr Gatwick routes. Leeds, Newcastle and Norwich have fairly high profile football clubs which may account for the presence of LBA, NCL and NWI in the list.
