I've lived long enough to lose relatives and friends to various forms of cancer to understand just how big a piece of news this is. Thank God.
I'm battling for increased funding of care costs for elderly relatives at the moment and the frustration at having to go through hoops for every penny is palpable.
So hearing about the billions planned for - Rivet Joint, HS1 and now HS2, Wind Energy infrastructure etc etc ad nauseum makes me sick. And don't start me on Footballers money gggrrrr.
This place constantly reinforces my faith in humanity and no better an example is this.
