I've never heard crews refer to the aircraft by their destination names, just the last letters of thier registrations
I agree we don't use names, just the reg apart from the odd a/c that stands out, at easyJet UI is well known at the 'carrot', and at Ryanair we used to all know DLN as Bye Bye Baby, but only the EMA/BHX based crews.
