From reading this thread, it seems that those low hours guys being offered contracts from Brookfield/Storm are working to around 50 Euro/hour (up to 1,500 hours and unfreezing ATPL), is that correct?
If so, at an estimate of 600 hours a year (which people seem to suggest is about the max at the moment) that only equates to 30,000 Euro p.a. before taxes.
My question is, with loan repayments £1,000+ per month for guys coming from an integrated course, how do people actually afford to live?! I know there are certain ways of offsetting training costs for tax purposes, but E30k p.a. seems incredibly meagre!
