a1anx,

'fraid not, there are plenty of leftist fools in aviation.
Like whom?

That well known leftist MOL? or how about the raving Stalinist Richard Branson? Everyone knows that Sir Michael Bishop was an agent of the KGB and Willie Walsh sells "Socialist Worker" outside Camden tube station every Saturday.

In all my years flying , I have only ever seen a copy of the Grauniad on the flight deck once. And that was one I found on the train. The Telegraph/Times are the normal flight deck fodder along with those lefty rags News of the World and the Sun. Oh yes and Top Gear magazine, read by all sandal wearing greenies and loony feminists.

The only people who try and paint BALPA as being a hotbed of the hard left are either axe grinders or those who don't yet work in the industry.

Personally I would welcome a bit more militancy, just to balance the militancy of the management. And I'm about as conservative as they come.
