Bravo Nacluv!

Hence why I was less than forthcoming with my original answer; there aren't many British civilian non-turboprop twins... Sorry Noyade, I hope you understand!

My 'baffled' clue may have helped

The Islander was manufactured at Bembridge, Isle of Wight, a stone's throw from the Saunders-Roe factory in Cowes...

This aircraft was on the cover of a British aviation magazine, and that edition was featured on their website for many months as an example back issue.

Nacluv has control.
