Some very interesting things are about to happen at BMIR. All for the better I might add to prevent speculation. Not prepared to say any more at this time but just a bit of food for thought.
Hopefully - it would appear they need to get on with changes, as the latest CAA stats show that pax numbers have collapsed on many of their international routes since the new management took over, presumably due to the lost codeshares and less ease of booking. We can have the loads/yields debate all we want, but with the extent of the falls in pax numbers I cant see how they're doing anything other than bleeding cash.
In any interviews I've seen with the new owners they've come across as pretty laid back about the future and the need to get changes moving, which frankly seems odd in the face of the sharp decline in pax numbers.
